Applecross’s catering team takes great pride in producing nutritious, varied menus, using locally sourced fresh ingredients whenever possible. Vegetarian dishes and special dietary needs are always catered for. We also have a specially adapted kitchen where patients, once assessed, can prepare their own snacks and drinks either assisted or unassisted. This helps to promote independence and can formulate part of an individual care programme.

Residents are actively encouraged by staff to voice their opinions on their care and to state their preferences on a day to day basis. Our Head Chef is happy to have feedback with regards to dietary requirements and comments on the quality of food and food service delivery. All residents’ preferences are recorded in their care profile.
